This morning: a Meteor fell into Russia! 500 are said to have been injured.

Sky Diver killed after missing landing spot.

This news came out on Saturday of this past weekend. It's the same spot that my friends and I have booked our jump.
Scary? Yes!
Should We still Jump?
Will We still jump? Yes I think so. It wouldn't be a thrill if there wasn't the risk.
I feel that if I back out now; I may never take the opportunity or get the chance again.

This summer has been full of ridiculous and exciting adventures. I've done so many new and exciting things. and I've expanded my horizons vastly. The odds are, our jump will be safe.

It's all or nothing. If you don't give it a try. you will definitely end up with nothing.

Time to Pull Out The Power Suit

As made famous in the movie Working Girl; I am in search of a new power suit to fit my *almost* new job! I'm just one interview away; after a line of emails, meetings, online career quiz, and a final interview on Monday.

The Manager commended me on my brave and confident attitude during the first meeting. He then informed me that he was quite impressed with my quiz scores, as they are of the best he's ever seen.

My New Career Goals:

• Make enough income to support my lifestyle of choice
• have a job that provides flexible work schedules
• feel rewarded by what I am accomplishing every day. Even if the only thing I accomplished that day was listen to 100 hang-ups
• Become my own boss with a cozy office and a window view of the Downtown water front!

As a Financial Advisor, I will be networking with millions of people, make a difference in someones life, and have a job that allows me the flexibility to attain my future goals, both career and personal.

I am looking very forward to it. Wish me luck on this last interview!

My Mother bought me a fabulous wedding planner. Believe it or not, I had no official planner. I had made my own from a note book and a sparkly binder. I love my discombobulated way of organization! It works for me! BUT, I am super excited, because now, with my new fabulous wedding planner, I can "fine tune" and make my wedding perfect!

life updates

I had a busy weekend.... such is life! Seems I get busier then ever when Big D leaves.

It's also been a while since I've had a good life recap. Here it goes:

1. Big D went out West to work on Water placements for his masters program. but before he left, we had a huge fight, which stemmed from one of our close couple friends big break-up. I think when people close to you have problems, you tend to think there must be something wrong with your life too. And sometimes time apart is what the heart really needs. I miss Big D very much and can't wait for him to come home.


2. I'm almost done my Human Resources program!!! only 2.5 months left!!! and this past Sunday night I went to a Passion Party with some of the girls from class. It was epic fun. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time! And I ordered Gold Dust!!! smells amazing and gives me a summer glow. I LOVE Sparkles!


3. Saturday night we celebrated Shi's birthday. I got to wear my new dress; it reminds me of something Carrie from SATC would wear. it has print all over of pink roses, and a big rose burst on the top bust; with pockets! *see pics, it's just too cute!

4. faught with my other boyfriend Dus. already recaped that a bit in a previous post. He called me last night. I guess we're cool for now. I really need to "He-tox" myself of of that unhealthy relatinship... which reminds me; Everyone going through a break-up should read this book ---> It's called a Break-up because it's Broken *CoughJoCough*

It's been a bit of an emotional rollercoaster the last few weeks to say the least. But that's the biggies for now. I hope everyone is following their summer dreams and not getting to stressed by life.

Her new mini tea cup pig cost about $4,500 according to Hollyscoop.


Apparently PETA is Pissed. lol. PETA claims Paris makes pets look disposable.





Well PETA, I'm no Paris Hilton, but if I had the money to adopt, care for, and even have personal servants attend to my babies, I'd have a damn mini pig too!

My Baby was found! Some very kind people stopped on the main road durring lunch-time traffic to save him from the cars, and then took him to the Fredericton SPCA.

He's Home Now Safe and Sound.

my life has become less than impressive. Rather, Almost Ordinary. So We are changing our blog name!

"A Life Almost Ordinary" will feature all the same rantings about fashion, love, weddings, Things Bid D Does, and all that jazz.

I just feel that Diamond-Stilettos deserves to be in the hands of the great vogue writers and fashion gurus from NYC. And I've grown up a lot in this past year. Buying a house; Getting engaged, planning a wedding; failing at life and my job; going back to school; searching for that ever gleaming perfect pair of shoes; and many more that everyone here has shared with me.

Bieber Fever

This is too funny not to make a comment on.

Justin Bieber was scheduled to do a concert in Australia this past weekend; it was shut down due to the crazy frenzy. Thousands of teen girls stormed the scene and many of them were sent to hospital for injury and dehydration. The frenzy is said to be unlike any seen in a long history of boy band bliss.

Where are these kid's parents!?! why aren't they taking care of their 12-13 year old daughters!?! Oh The Insanity!

Bigt D was watching a new shoe called Dr. Steve-o. If anyone remembers Steve-o, he's one of the main men from the movie Jackass, I believe.

But this is not just any man show; it's an epic crazy man show! Dr. Steve-o takes geeky mama's boys and turns them into men? basically, he tortures these poor boys, and they participate willingly.
So I was lucky enough to see grown men "bonding" by making tea-cups in a pottery lesson, from the form of their scrotum.... another guy broke a light bulb on his head and then cut his tongue with the broken bits.... and another guy had to punch himself in the face.... and then there was the timely stripper groping, and towel whippings.

This show claims to "help" these guys become more manly, but I don't see how self mutilation and tea-bagging makes anyone more manly... maybe more stupid!

overall it's an interesting show to watch if you can stand the naked man boobs and Steve-o running around in a mini man thong. I'll give it a 6 out of 10.
