A Fabulous Life

It's December 23rd. Christmas is and has always been my favorite time of year! The Beau and I are in NFLD for chrsitmas with his family.

He took me to the duck pond where the city christmas lights are in full bloom. in the dark, by christmas light, we fed the ducks. they surrounded us in eager and excitement as we threw them bread.

a family of three came down the lane toward us; the daughter was pushing her mother in a wheelchair. I offered them the last of the bread I had so they could enjoy the duck frenzy that surrounded all of us at this point. We wished each other merry christmas; and the Beau took my hand and led me on to the light covered bridge.

He asked me if I liked it here. I said yes it is fantastic. Then he said, well i guess theres only one more thing that could make it even better.

As he got down on one knee; I started screaming my excited school girl scream; which I'm sure the whole city heard. I of course said yes amid screams of delight; and we popped a bottle of champagne he had tucked away inside the bread bag.

The most romantic place and time of my life!

I've found my prince charming!
