WineNights and Nightlife

Mr Nightlife has not spoken to me since I ignored his last text midnight NYE. I'm guessing it has something to do with Mr. WineNights.

I have yet to tell you of Mr. WineNights.
He was no big thing. Just a boy who I became friends with after becoming a frequent flier at the new wine bar with Mr. Nightlife. Mr. WineNight is super adorable in an awkward, nerdy and amusing way. We swapped BBM's one night and have been sending provocative texts to each other ever since.

It's a game of cat and mouse. He asks me to come over to his place after a late night shift, and I tell him no. Then I ask him to come to my place, and he says no. and it continues back and forth this way. every night.

as for Mr. Nightlife; I think he found out about our texts. They went to university together, and work around the corner from each other. It was bound to happen. I admit I have a flirting problem. all things considered, I've done well to not mix my pleasures this far.

Steve Brady - The Hot Nerd

David Eigenberg plays Steve Brady from Sex&theCity. He was one of the first nerdy but worthy guys that light up our t.v. screens in the 90's and showed us how the nerd can be a total catch too.


2 of the guys I've been seeing have similar personalities to the Steve character from S&TC. Sometimes my life mimics this show more than I think is normal...

Ducky and I met for breakfast one morning, and hit it off a second time round. Its perhaps one of my more odd picks for men. He's got that Steve Brady, nerdy, funny guy, wholesome and quirky with a hot body thing happening. and I kinda like it.

But most of all, we click personality wise. and that seems to be a big part of what I like about him so far. (if only he wasn't 22 and in the military.)

Mr. Nightlife lives the life of the nerdy but cute bartender Steve Brady. We have fallen into a schedule much like the one of Miranda and Steve when they first started dating. I work early morning and days, while he works long late nights. and somehow we try to meet in the middle.

MR. Nightlife also has the weird but very pleasing and caring personality of Steve Brady. Again, I like this guys personality more than his looks. He's been super patient with me, while I decide what I want from our relationship. He's smart and funny. And I probably should give him a little more attention.

Mr. Nightlife

Mr Nightlife has taken me out a few times now. He is over eager to spoil me and show me a good time since I had been dating a girl before we met. It's the typical "I can turn you back" situation. He wants to show me how awesome he is, and what he has that no girl could give me.
We have become the newest regulars at the new wine bar downtown. I'm definitely not complaining.

Mr. Nightlife

We met for drinks at a newly opened wine bar. John Mayer was playing in the background, and politicians were spending our tax dollars on their regular social night out. It was a very swank place to be.

He was a gentleman and picked up the tab. He knew all the bar staff, and we closed the place down. Then wandered over to a second bar and drank a few more rounds while his staff buddies cleaned up shop for the night. He seemed to have all the right connections. He manages a well-to-do dining establishment in our city, and makes a bit of cash doing so. This is how he came to be Mr. NightLife; or as my friend T-Fras likes to call him - Nighthawk.

His annoying habit is that he likes to throw his money in your face while trying to show you how awesome he is. I think we would have clicked better if he wasn't so flashy all the time. and He's over eager to please. always saying things like "Ill pay. Ill pay for your friend too".

I definitely like being spoiled by my partner. but I also like being able to give back. And want someone who is self assured. I'm not much of a cheerleader. You'll have to take a chill pill if you want to roll with me.

and the main deal breaker for me: He smokes. It's just gross kissing a smoker.

perhaps I should call him Mr. Too-Much-Flash.
