So, I've begun my new job at Santa Land in the mall where all the little kiddies get their picture taken with Santa. Apart from having the flu my first day; it's going well. This is not the first year I got to be one of Santa's elves. I did it a few years ago, and it was one of the most fun jobs ever! thus I'm back for another round. I love personally knowing Santa; it seems to have a prestige title among the Masses; well, at least to those who value childhood memories and happiness. We have 4 different Santa's who circuit our mall. some of them are more creepy than the others...
This year though, we have a mother daughter team running the show. they even employed their grandmother part time. Its no big deal, I understand people want to keep it in the family; but he issue is; the daughter is the manager and the mother is the assistant manager. And they fight. like demons. It is actually very awkward and embarrassing. I don't know what to do with myself when they start to fight. Santa and I just keep to ourselves and exchange *I'm-frightened* looks while they toil over their management and personal issues.

Then you have the strange mall goers. The mall-goer of the first day I wish to write about, was a teen boy who had aspergers? Not entirely sure; but definitely that or downs. Anyway; this boy visited Santa twice in half an hour. Each time running up to the gate with such speed, i was a bit scared; and waving like mad. Santa waved back in the same crazy fashion. Not making fun of the boy by any means, but still mimicking the eccentric action.
I look forward to tonight's ventures in Santa Land. perhaps I'll have another adventure to share tonight when I get home.
baahahahaa i cant believe you work at santa land hilarious!
