Today the Beau and I went on a car hunt. We test drove 7 different cars in the freddy area. I think we've settled on a dodge caliber. within the next few days, hopefully we will have a new car! The funny part to this excursion was the amount of references we got from the car dealership guys who would talk to me while the Beau checked around the car and then they would say to him; "As I was saying to your Wife..." neither of us corrected them of course.
And in our search for the perfect car, we had in mind our little babies; ours 2 boys who need space to play and be safe in the back; and our ever growing storage space and travel packages when we go away for trips. We really need a "family-size" vehicle - almost soccer mom, but not quite there yet.
Once Home; I sat down to do one of my Favorite things: Christmas Gifting. I made a chart on the computer with a to-do list; check boxes and everything. wrote out names of our two families, and then Immediate Friends who need gifts this year. Wrote out Cards for our 2 families. wrapped some gifts, made stocking stuffers, and nagged at the Beau for being so naturally enthusiastic and helpful. The ultimate house-wife tasks.
After our day of exciting car testing, the Beau likes to unwind with some "gaming time" i guess you call it? He tried to get me in on it. well, I finally agreed to some boyfriend-bonding time and we took on 2 rounds of his game: call of duty, modern warfare two. . .
H e Killed Me! he chased me, and then killed me! I was scared, and he wanted me to shoot other things too. I dont know what your idea of bonding is... but That is NOT Mine!
So I quite. I decided it's best if I stick to blogging, wine, hair, and nails. It's safer, and more relaxing.
