Doggy-Doo-Doo

We adopted a little Gremlin (chihuahua) from the SPCA about a year ago. He came with all the problems of an abused teenager. stressed and anxious. He has sever seperation anxiety any time we leave him alone at home, and our other pets tend to pick on him; kind of like natures way - the strong will survive. But we do our best to be good parents and clean up after his messes, praise him when he does good. Until now, we've dealt with his sneaky pooping and messing in the morning before we get up. But Today we had a breackthrough!!! Little Gremlin has developed a ritual of peeing before bed, and then he can sleep until 9am the next morning. Then at 9 am; if we aren't up yet (we are lazy and like to sleep late when we can) he will crawl out of his little 'chewy vuitton' bed and blanky, and sneak down stairs to find a place to secretly do his business. Well, we've figured out his routine, and now we colaborated; the Beau and I take turns each morning getting up to let him out when he starts to crawl out of bed.

This may seem like a small deal to those of you reading; but it's a tremendous feet for us as a family. we've finally come to understand each other. Well almost; Little Gremlin still does that creepy shiver thing, and the White Ghost still hides in corners and sucks on his paws like a newborn. Little Orange has now decided to attack rather then love... Our prefect little dysfunctional family.
