My Dad is a proud man.
He is a doctor.
He saves lives every day, and brings new lives into this world every night.
But He has been sick for a while. and he was in denial of it.
Last week, his coworkers noticed his rapidly deteriorating health and checked him into the emergency section of the hospital. They ran a lot of tests. and then wouldn't let him leave until they had put 2 quarts of blood in him.
We didn't know what was wrong. they didn't find anything in the blood work. So they sent him for a cat scan.
Today we got his results back. My mother called me right away.
Mom: "It's not Cancer, it's not Kidney Disease. They don't now whats wrong, but it's not that bad..."
Me : "phew ok...?"
He has to go for surgery in Halifax. His stomach and bowls have been pushed up into his chest, which leaves him short of breath. They don't know how or why. He needs to get more blood tomorrow. He will need more blood regularly until his surgery.
Please send him positive vibes over the next few weeks.
I want to thank all the Blood Donors out there! My dad is very sick, and you have helped him get better!
