Daddy-Daughter Teams = C.U.T.E.

(image Via Google)

I had a Daddy-Daughter Team today at work whom I was helping find gifts for their family. This Daddy-Daughter Team reminded me why I love what I do so much.

They were ADORABLE! The little girl was about six. She said to me, "I like this music", and started to dance to our hip hop satelite tunes. Soooooo Cute! We dance partied together while her dad picked out a sweater for his older daughter.

I continued to help this super dynamic team hunt for their christmas gifts. We shared some laughes, and then before they left, I asked the final and most important question of customer service: "Is There Anything Else I Can Help You With Today?"

The father turned to me and looked me straight in the eye with great gratitude. And he said: "No. You have been amazing, and so helpful. I really appreciate it so much. Thank you for being so kind to us and making shopping for gifts so fun and easy. I really appreciate it"

I'm not lying when I say, This is why I love Retail! The people, the appreciation from the few who care to speak their mind. The joy you get out of helping someone. Just that one Daddy-Daughter Team made my entire day go one million times better!

Thank You for being You!

  1. You are so true. This is one thing that Retail has even when it fails at so many other levels. I worked in a retail few years back and even though the work pressure was monumental, moments like these spared me :-) Merry Christmas.
