Hose-Wife Diaries Meets the Big Screen

"The Burbs" starring Tom Hanks, is a satire about life in the suburbs.

There is the All American Family; The rich military style couple; the gardeners; bratty teens; the old cranky people, and the creepy people who rarely come out of their house.

This is hilariously relevant to our current neighborhood. with more extremism of course.

Big D and I laughed together as we analysed our neighbors in relation to this movie. We laughed even harder when we realised, We are the Gardening Couple with the gorgeous lawn and flowers, with the little dog that poops on the neighbors lawn.

We figure this is not so bad, as our direct neighbors are bratty university students who play loud music and rampage through our garden during their drunken stoopers.

And on the other side, we have the people who resemble the recluse family who keep to themselves; as if they don't exist.

The first 10 minutes of this movie sums up our street perfectly!

I think everyone should watch this movie. It's a real good laugh!
