Things are never what they seem

Lately I've been faced with more frequent occurrences of things not being quite what I expected. and frankly, I'm over it!

First...

is the instance of my College course. either I'm too smart, or this is not what I want to do for the rest of my life. I thought I'd be dabbling in mature conversations about the world and humanistic habits related to the work force. But right now all I'm doing is punching data into a computer program and pulling my hair out from the boredom.

Second, ...

My boy and I bought a new game- dance dance rev. - and an extra mat, so we could play doubles. but the mat needs triple A batteries and is wireless. Who has triple A batteries!?! they are expensive! and we cant figure out how to hook up this wireless shit! please, someone throw me a bone here!

Third, ...

My little monsters are super cute, but man do they stink! like little walking poop bags! How can such a vile smell come from such a sweet little thing!?!

Fourth, ...

My shoes need more love. Or i just need more shoes... Kill the rain and bring back summer and stilettos!

and Finally, ...

our house is being renovated. We agreed with the contractor to a finished basement. Well, according to them, that does not include floors, half a ceiling, and doors. SERIOUSLY??? so you can put up some walls and a heater, and think someone can live in that!? not to mention the finish date was August 15Th, 2009. It is now October 7Th, 2009. If i have to look at these people for another month I'm gonna lose my shit.

My personal motto is - that's life.... deal with it. - lately this has become a droning sentence in my daily activities. like Leanne Rhymes says - "somethings gotta give"
