You don't have to wait for hours and you have the most beautiful view of the Champs Elysees with the Eiffel Tower in the background... :)<br /><br />And for hostels, make sure to go in international ones, otherwise they might not speak English (for the countries whose national language isn't english obv)<br /><br />and if you're in Sevilla on a Sunday, you can go see Bull fighting... it's apparently awful (since they slowly kill the bulls) but worth it. They only have them on Sundays though so I wasn't able to see one so I don't know what it's like.<br /><br />and bring shampoo or buy some at the airport because you might have a hard time finding some. They don't have grocery stores in the cities, or if they do, they're kind of hidden.
