Mr. Delivery

My day started out rough. snow storm. late for work. nearly hit a car, but turned the wheel and banked onto a snow bank instead, and had to get a tow truck to pull me out. *ugh, Frustration Max.*
but then....

There is a man who comes in to work regularly to deliver things, and drop off reports to my boss. Being one of the front showroom girls, I've had the pleasure of chatting to him and taking the deliveries from him in the past. He always says "Hello Roller Girl" when he comes in. *blushes*

Today I took the report from him, and went and put it on my bosses desk. I came back out to find Mr.Delivery still hovering over my desk. He was reading a Roller Derby poster I had up on the wall. I walked back to my desk slowly, and kind of jokingly asked him, "Do you want to join roller derby?" and laughed.
We chatted about the learn to skate program, and how he could join as a ref or volunteer.

Our next recruitment training camp starts on February 14th, and he said; "Oh! on Valentines Day ? *smiles at me* :)"
Me: Yes. the perfect V-day gift if you have a lady *sneaky flirtatious smile back*
Mr. Delivery: "Nope... no lady..."
Me *thinking fast,... oh god... getting flustered... need to change the subject*
"well, if you want to check it out, we have free skate practice on Tuesdays. you could come by and check it out sometime to see what it's like"
Mr.Delivery: *pulls out his IPhone and starts plugging in dates and times.* Cool. I'll see you there *Smiles at me*

*giddy feelings. awkward feelings, maybe even hopeful happy feelings*
not such a bad day after all.
